International Career

Kohli joined the Indian National Cricket team in 2008.Where his ODI debut was on 18 August 2008 against Sri Lanka.Later he appeared in T20I in 2010 against Zimbabwe.Whereas, kohli’s Test Debut was on June 20, 2011 against West Indies.Although Kohli’s first appearance in an ODI  was just a replacement of the opening batsman.So, it was a surprise for everyone especially kohli himself.

Kohli was titled as the Male Cricketer of the decade in 2020 by ICC. Moreover, he also captained the team from 2014 to 2022.

Also, the Indian Cricket team won the Champions trophy (2013) and World Cup (2011) under his Captaincy.

Firstly, Kohli started his domestic career for national level from junior age in 2002 by Polly Umrigar Match. Later, he played for different teams in different span of time. For Ranji trophy, Kohli appeared in List A Cricket against Services in 2006.

Furthermore, Kohli played for the Nissar Trophy, Ranji Trophy, and Quaid e Azam Trophy.
