The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, a much-anticipated event, will begin on October 5. India, as we all know, will host the entire event. It was previously held in England in 2019.Each country’s squad has been confirmed. In addition, each squad includes 15 members. However, it did contain both active and reserve players. As a result, they are all equipped with batters, bowlers, and all-rounders.

In addition, eleven teams will compete in the World Cup in 2023.The teams included Pakistan, India, England, New Zealand, Australia, Afghanistan, the Netherlands, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and South Africa.

Selected players are Temba Bavuma (captain), Gerald Coetzee, Quinton de Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Marco Jansen, Heinrich Klaasen, Andile Phehlukwayo, Keshav Maharaj, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Rassie van der Dussen, and Lizaad Williams.

Temba Bavuma (Captain of South Africa Squad)

Geoffrey Toyana, a former South African first-class cricketer, tutored Bavuma, who made his first-class debut for Gauteng in 2008. Moreover, He was signed by the Lions after only three seasons. He had a strong second season, and his steady play earned him the position of club vice-captain in 2013-14.

In addition, he captained South Africa in the 2022 Men’s T20 World Cup but was out of form, which resulted in another significant milestone in Bavuma’s career. Gerald Coetzee

Rassie van der Dussen

Hendrik Erasmus van der Dussen, popularly known as Rassie, is a lanky right-hand batter who is a patient yet stern accumulator for South Africa.

Perhaps batting in a style more suited to the previous generation, van der Dussen kept a persistent monitor on the local circuit.
