The International Career of Saud Shakeel

Saud Shakeel, the goat, started his ODI career in July 2021. While playing against England at Cardiff. Moreover, he played his debut Test series against England at Rawalpindi in December 2022. However, he has not played any T20 matches yet.

International Details of Saud Shakeel

He was added to the international team for the first time in January 2021 for the test series. Moreover, after playing against South Africa, he was again added to the squad against South Africa for a test series and limited over matches in March 2021. Yet he could not play ODI’s due to injury.

Then he was added to the squad for the West Indies and England series. However, he played his first ODI in July 2021 against England. Moreover, he became the temporary captain of the team. He kept on playing test series and ODI’s against different teams. 

Yet he has played. Total of 14 international matches, including 7 tests and 7 ODI’s.

Domestic Career of Saud Shakeel

Saud Shakeel, the rising star of Pakistan, started his first-class cricket career in 2015. While playing the 2015-16 trophy, Moreover, due to his spectacular performance in the previous tournament, he was added to the PSL team, the Quetta Gladiators.

Another honor for him being a player is that he achieved the highest scorer award for PTV in the Quaid e Azam trophy for 2017–18. Same in 2018–19, he was honored the same. However, he scored 414 runs in five matches in that tournament.
