Domestic Career

It has already been discussed that Rachin has been part of the Under-19 World Cup squad in 2016 and 2018. Due to his performance in the Under-19 World Cup 2018, the ICC named him Rising Star of the Squad. Moreover, his performance helped him earn a contract with Wllington for 2018–19.

Yet he played his debut List A match against Pakistan A on October 21, 2018. Additionally, his first-class debut for New Zealand A was also against Pakistan A on October 30, 2018. Furthermore, he made his first century against Auckland in the 2019–20 Ford Trophy matches. In addition, he made his maiden century in first-class cricket in the Plunket Shield Season 2019–20.
