International Information of Paul van Meekeren

Paul Adriaan made his international debut in April 2013 through T20I. Thus this was against Kenya. Moreover, Meekeren played his debut ODI in July 2018. While he took the wicket of legend Hashim Amla. As it was against South Africa. Later on in July 2018,  he played against Nepal. Moreover, he has not yet played a test series. Another important aspect of his career was that he played in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Domestic Career of Paul van Meekerem

Meekerem played his first match of his domestic career in the 2016 WT20. However, he played the match-winning spell against Ireland with a 4-11 strike rate. Furthermore, he signed with Somerset County Cricket Club in July 2016.

Thus, it was a short-term deal played till the season’s end. Later on, he signed a two-year deal with the same club, which was active until the end of the season in 2018.

Paul van Meekerem was added to the Netherlands team for the inaugural Desert T20 Challenge. Yet he played it against Hong Kong. The championship was organized in January 2017.

It is to be noted that he broke the record for scoring the most from the 11 players on the team. Yet he scored 18 runs on 11 balls. Moreover, he proved to be the only player who scored multiple sixes while playing at number 11.

Later on, in June 2019, he was added to the Winnipeg Hawks franchise team for the Global T20 Canada Tournament. Thus, in July 2019, he opted to play for the Amsterdam Knights in the inaugural edition of the Euro T20 Slam cricket tournament. Nevertheless, the tournament was canceled the following month.

Paul Van Meekeren was associated with Durham for the T20 Blast in July 2021. Moreover, his team got defeated by Derbyshire in that match, yet he scored 2–1. Moreover, the Nevis Patriots and St. Kitts chose him for the 2021 season. Nonetheless, he became the first Dutch player to play in the CPL 20.
