In group A (Nepal India and Pakistan will be played). And in group B (Bangladesh Afghanistan and Sri Lanka) included.
The reigning champions of the competition, Sri Lanka, defeated Pakistan in the previous year’s championship game. With a solid team for the competition and home-field advantage, Pakistan’s team will try to win the trophy this time. The expected Pakistani team for the 2023 Asia Cup is shown below.
Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman are anticipated to participate in the Pakistan team for the Asia Cup in 2023 as the openers. In the prior ODI series against New Zealand, both of these openers displayed excellent performances. Zaman scored 823 runs in 17 games in 2023, averaging 51.43 per game. Additionally, the left-handed batsman has broken 4 centuries and 2 half centuries. On the other side, Imam-Ul-Haq has amassed 696 runs at an average of 58.0 in 13 ODI games this year, with two hundreds and six fifties.
With outstanding players like Babar Shaheen Rizwan and Naseem Pakistan, the group appears to have potential; nevertheless, we must also look at the other guys.

The players for the Asia Cup were displayed in the table above. Let’s look at the team’s important players and what they do. This will also provide us with information on how they fared in the 2018 Asia Cup.
Babar Azam
Babar Azam is the most talented player in the world. He is the skipper of the Pakistani team and plays a vital role to manage the whole team. He is No 1 player in ODI ranking and this Advantage is enough for us.
The most dangerous player in Pakistan’s lineup will undoubtedly be the captain. Babar Azam’s status as one of the best batsmen in the T20 format is up for debate. He is praised by certain cricket pundits as someone who endures based on his statistics. One of Pakistan’s top ODI batsmen in the contemporary age is considered to be Babar Azam. Babar filled the void left by Pakistan’s inability to find a standout batsman. He has an 89 percent strike rate and an ODIS average of 59. Given that he starts for Pakistan, this is encouraging for the three-match series.

Muhammad Rizwan

As a breath of fresh air, Rizwan entered Pakistan’s batting scene. He is no longer kept a secret from the world. Pakistan’s batting order can be managed if Rizwan can be eliminated quickly. In the powerplay, Mohammad Rizwan makes swift dashes. He is capable of playing shots everywhere in the field. In the PSL, everyone could see how dangerous he was. Rizwan is one of the fastest scorers among batsmen in Asian conditions. His current form suggests he is a threat to opposing bowlers despite his 32-average. But does he really do that?

Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman is one of my favorite players because of his long sixes. Fakhar and the squad have a love-hate relationship. Though he is capable of destroying the opposing bowling squad, his erratic performance has been against him. We all saw his performance in the earlier Asia Cup games as well. Furthermore, how can you forget his century against India in the Champions Trophy? In his 65 ODI matches, he had a strike rate of 90 and an average of 45. He is the first Pakistani batsman to score a double ton in an ODI after scoring 210 runs in a single game. He will be Pakistan’s most lethal weapon if he can maintain his form.

Shadab Khan

Over the years, Shadab Khan has established himself as a valuable all-around player for the squad. He initially joined the team because of his leg break bowling. But as his career developed, he also showed that he could contribute with the bat. He was named captain of his PSL team and has repeatedly guided Islamabad United to the playoffs. Sadly, he had trouble because his bowling hand was hurt. He has presumably healed, making him a risky proposition for a Wicket-taker in Asian conditions.

Shaheen Shah Afridi

Shaheen has been one of Pakistan’s top bowlers in the contemporary period. Sadly, injuries have prevented him from experiencing any memorable moments in important matches. He is able to swing the ball in the direction of right-handed batsmen. He has won several wickets with just this one tool. Shaheen can also vary the pace, lines, and length in addition to this. He can take wickets in the first few overs, which makes him a nightmare for openers.  This tall young quick bowler is good at more than just that. He has demonstrated in PSL games that he can be a useful tailender with a huge boundary hitting talent.

Naseem Shah

He is one of Pakistan’s brightest prospects, in my opinion. He is only 20 years old, yet in the five ODIs he has played for Pakistan, he has taken 18 wickets at an economy rate of 5. Bowlers these days don’t have a lot of tools at their disposal, therefore Naseem is a nice choice to have. Although Naseem Shah is young and inexperienced, he is passionate and energized. He consistently bowls above 140 KPH with a 15 percent strike rate. This indicates that he consistently obtains wickets while managing the opposition’s batsmen. This young fast bowler will be the one with the ability to misdirect the openers and claim wickets in the final few overs. I have no doubt that Naseem Shah will keep the Asia Cup entertaining.

Vikrant Gupta

Vikrant Gupta who sits and comments on India’s sports channel. This is their wish and along with them Pakistan and other Indian fans also wish that there should be a final of Asia cup between Pakistan and India. Now let’s see what will happened in this cup and which team will perform best my prayers, always with Pakistan and I’m sure we will win. So don’t very keep calm and wait for 2 September the battle of cricket.
