New Zealand on 134 runs on the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs

Finn Allen and Tim Seifert

At the start of the first innings, Finn and Tim were the openers from the New Zealand Side. Whereas Mahedi Hasan was the bowler at the beginning. Furthermore, Allen just made 1 run at the start however on the 4th ball of the innings, Tim lost his wicket. Moreover, he was out on the ball by Mahedi Hasan on 0/3 balls.

Finn Allen and Daryl Mitchell 

Daryl Mitchell was the next top order batsman of the New Zealand team. However, on the 2nd ball of the 1st over, Finn was out on the ball by Shoriful Islam at just ⅓ runs.

Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips 

Phillips came as the next batsman and went out in the blink of an eye at just 0/1. Furthermore, he was out on the Lbw by Shoriful Islam.

After the loss of the 3rd wicket, Mark Chapman came as the next batsman. Slowly the game became stable, and some scores started to add on the scoreboard of the New Zealand team. During the 2nd and 3rd ball of the 3rd over Mitchell initiated a pair of wholesome boundary 4s. However, the match halted once again at the end of the 4th over. Mitchell went out on the ball by Mahedi Hasan at his 14/15 runs.

After the loss of the 4th wicket, 5 overs were completed with 22/4 for New Zealand. In addition, Mark Chapman was the next batsman on the crease. In addition, he played a boundary 4 during the 11th over too. Later the 12th over passed with some slow runs. However, Santner raised the scores with his magnificent pair of 2 boundary 4s with the addition of a 6 by Neesham too. Later, on the 3rd ball of the 14th over Santner’s wicket was dismissed by Shoriful Islam at his 23/22 runs.

James Neesham and Adam Milne

Adam Milne appeared as the next player. At the completion of the 15 overs, New Zealand was on 92/6 runs. During the 15th over, Neesham beautifully played a pair of boundaries 4 and 6. Whereas Neesham initiated a 6 on the 2nd ball of the 16th over and went out on the next ball. Furthermore, Neesham was out on the ball by Mustafizur at his 16/12 runs.

Tim Southee came in as the next batsman and played a fabulous boundary 4 on the first ball of the 17th over. Whereas Milne initiated a boundary 6 at the last ball of the same over. However, during the 18th over Southee lost his wicket on the ball by Mustafizur at his 8/10 runs.

Adam Milne and Ish Sodhi

Ish Sodhi came as the next player and after playing ⅖ runs he went out during the 19th over. In addition, Tanzim Hasan Sakib dismissed his wicket.

Ben Sears was the last player from the New Zealand Squad. Furthermore, he just played 1/1. Whereas Milne played a sizzling boundary 6 on the last ball of the inning and completed his 16/12 runs. Moreover, both players remained not out.

Litton Das and Rony Talukdar

At the beginning of the 2nd innings, Das and Talukdar were the openers of Bangladesh team. Whereas Tim Southee was the bowler of the New Zealand team. On the 5th ball of the 2nd inning, Talukdar played a wonderful boundary 6. However, he went out during the 1st over on the ball by Adam Milne at 10/7 runs.

The Captain of the team Najmul Hossain Shantu was the next player. In addition, he played a classical 4 on the 2nd ball he got by Milne. During the 3rd over, Shanto again initiated a pair of fabulous boundary 4s. Furthermore, he again played a boundary 4 on the 5th ball of the 4th over. Unfortunately, Shanto went out on the last ball of the 4th over by the ball of Neesham at his 19/14 overs. So, the total score of Bangladesh team was 38/2 in 5 overs.

Soumiya Sarkar was the next batsman after Shantu. Later the next over went without any boundary hit. However, Soumiya played a fantastic pair of 4 and 6 boundaries during the 6th over. As the 7th over went without any boundary hit, Soumiya again played a 4 on the 3rd ball of the 8th over. However, on the next ball Sears dismissed Soumiya’s wicket at his 22/15 runs.

After the loss of 3rd wicket, Towhid appeared on the crease and the match became slow till the 10 over. At the 10 overs, the score of Bangladesh was 73/3 runs. Later Towhid sped up the game with a beautiful boundary 6 during the 10th over. Later, Towhid went out on the ball by Santner during the 13th over at his 19/18 runs.

Litton Das and Afif Hossain

Afif Hossain was the next player. However, he went out after just ⅙ runs on the ball by Southee during the 14th over.

As the 5th wicket was lost, 15 overs were completed with 98/5 runs for Bangladesh. During the 15th over, Das initiated a boundary 4. The next 2 overs went without any boundary hit. However, Das played a wonderful pair of boundaries 4 and 6 at the start of the 17th over. Later during the 18th over Mahedi Hasan threw a pair of boundaries 4 and 6. 

So, the Bangladesh team chased the target score of 134 runs and completed 137 runs in 18.4 overs. Hence, Bangladesh won this match with 5 wickets and 8 remaining balls.
