International Information of Mujeeb Ur Rahman

Mujeeb Ur Rahman was the leading wicket-taker in the 2017 U-19 Asia Cup. Thus, it led to the maiden tournament-winning title for Afghanistan. Later on, he played his first ODI in December 2017. Hence, he took four wickets for 24 runs. Yet in December 2018, he was added to the U-19 World Cup squad. Thus making his T20 debut against Zimbabwe.

Moreover, Mujeeb became the youngest player to take an ODI five-wicket haul while still taking the title of Man of the Match. However, in February 2018, he was named as one of the ten players to look forward to for the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament.

Later on, in May 2018, he made his Test debut against India. Consequently, he became the sixth player of the 21st century to play test matches. Later on, in April 2019, he was named in Afghanistan’s squad for the Cricket World Cup. Moreover, in 2021, he took his first five-wicket haul for T20I.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman made his List A debut for Speen Ghar Region in 2017. Moreover, he made his T20 debut for Boost Defenders in the Shpageeza Cricket League season. Later on, the Comilla Victorians signed him for the 2017–18 Bangladesh Premier League. 

Furthermore, he became the youngest to participate in the IPL. However, he was added to Nangarhar’s squad for the Afghanistan Premier League tournament. Besides that, he also played for Cumillia Warriors in the 2019–20 BPL.
