International Information of Mitchell Marsh

Marsh made his debut through T20I in 2011 on their tour to South Africa. However, he played their second match when he scored 36 runs. Thus, it was not a bad debut. Later on in 2014, he scored 89 and 86 runs not out against Zimbabwe and South Africa, respectively.

Moreover, in October 2014, he played his debut test against Pakistan. Furthermore, he played ODI. Thus, his most prominent performance was a five-wicket haul in the 2015 ODI World Cup against England.

In 2018, due to foul language he used with the South African team, he was fined 20% of his match fee. Furthermore, he was also given one merit point. Moreover, he was added to the national team squad for the 2018–19 season. Yet his name was added as a cover for Marcus Stoinis before the ICC World Cup 2019 against Pakistan.

Furthermore, he scored his maiden 50 for T20I in July 2021. Thus scoring 51 runs from 31 balls. Thus, he continued his good form, scoring another half-century in the next match. Moreover, he made 75 runs in his fourth T20I.

Marsh was added to Australia’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.However, his performance helped Team Australia win the tournament. Later on, he opted for the Ashes tour of England in 2023.

Domestic Career of Mitchell Marsh

Mitchell Marsh played his first domestic game in 2009. At that time, he was just 17, so he became the youngest player in domestic play in Australia. Furthermore, he served as the captain of U19 Australia during the 2010 U19 World Cup.

It is to be noted that the Deccan Chargers signed him for IPL 2010. Later on, he played for the Pune Warriors. Moreover, he scored 211 runs, batting seventh in the first inning, thus securing another position for the Australian team.

However, in 2020, he signed for Middlesex County Cricket Club. Yet it was withdrawn due to COVID 19. Moreover, Sunrisers Hyderabad signed him for the IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals, and Seattle ORcas for the edition I of Major League Cricket in 2023.
