Domestic Career of Ibrahim Zadran

Ibrahim Zadran made his List A debut through Mis Ainak Region in the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament on August 11, 2017. Moreover, he made his T20 debut for the Mis Ainak Knights in the Shpageeza Cricket League on September 12, 2017.

Moreover, in September 2018, he was added to the first edition of Nangarhar’s squad for the Afghanistan Premier League Tournament. Later on in 2021, Ibrahim played for Boyne Hill in Berkshire. Moreover, he played as the opening player in that match, yet he scored 479 runs in 15 matches.

International Career of Ibrahim Zadran (U-19, U-23)

Ibrahim Zadran played his debut match in the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup. He was added to Afghanistan’s squad. Moreover, he was renowned as the leading run scorer for Afghanistan with the 186 runs he scored.

Later on, in December 2018, he was added to the U-23 Afghanistan team for the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2018. However, he was added to Afghanistan’s test squad for their one-off match against Bangladesh. It was played on September 5, 2019. Later on, in the next month, he was added to Afghanistan’s squad against the West Indies.

In addition, he made his ODI debut against the West Indies for Afghanistan on November 11, 2019. Later on, he made his T20I debut against the West Indies on November 14, 2019.

Furthermore, he was added to the U-19 Cricket World Cup squad in 2020. Moreover, he was the leading scorer in the tournament, making 240 runs in five matches for the Afghanistan team. Yet he played five matches there.

However, in June 2022, he played his second match against Zimbabwe, yet he scored his first ODI century with 120 unbeaten runs. However, he scored his second ODI century against Sri Lanka in Pallekele. Yet he scored 106 runs. Moreover, he won the man of the match award.

Thus, in his third match of the same series, he smashed 162 runs, breaking the highest score record by his mate. In addition, he completed the series with 278 runs at an average of 92.66 runs. Yet he won the Man of the Series award.

However, six months later, he scored 98 runs against Sri Lanka in his first match in June 2023. However, it was played in Hambantota, thus winning the man of the match award. It is to be noted that he scored 106, 10, 162, and 98 runs in the last four innings against Sri Lanka.
